At present, the number of internal-combustion engine components is about 2,000, but a motor of a Tesla, a representative electric car model, can be produced with just 18 components.

인간보다 안전함이 입증된 무인 자동차는 교통 안전과 건강 문제를 해결해 줄 것이다. 동일방식의 무인 자동차 주행에 따라 운전자의 난폭 행동(ROAD RAGE), 접촉 사고, 차도둑, 길 잃기, 운전면허 시험, 자동차 충돌테스트용 더미가 사라지며 음주단속, 낙폭운전, 교통통제 등 교통법규를 주관하는 경찰, 교통 재판소 변호사, 검사, 판사 등 사법 기관이 현재 규모보다 상당부분 축소 될 것이다.
